I definitely could've gone faster, I had plenty left at the end, but I'm not the type to turn in a sub 20:00. This is actually only the second 5K I've ever run in my life. Distance running is definitely not my strength. (Not that 5K is all that much distance, but for me it's a lot.)
To be honest, if I hadn't commited myself to helping my buddy follow Crossfit for the month, I'd never even consider a 5K for a workout. Way too slow twitch for my tastes, and not at all applicable to my style of play. I'll take sprints and suicides over slow distance runs any day.

Based on your workouts and your abilities I would think you would be able to run a 5k much quicker?
